This fetishization of Latinas in the media is n’t only embarrassing, but it also has serious implications. It exacerbates belittling and can lead to intolerance. It can even encourage dating violence and increase physical harassment of young girls.
The strangeness and fetishizing of mexican bodies turns them into bare artifacts to become won and showcased.
